David Holek - Founder/Trainer

David Holek has been training professionally for over eight years (ACE-CPT), and has been operating his own business for over four years. He is committed to assuring Focus Point Training’s clients achieve results with professional and punctual personal trainers. He is an avid nature seeker and enjoys hitting the trails on bike or on foot in addition to his regular training routine.


Neil Deatrick- Personal Trainer

Neil (he/him) holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Michigan State University, complemented by minors in Nutrition and Coaching. As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Neil brings over 26 years of martial arts training to the table. He is a Certified Master of Taekwondo with additional experience in Judo, Jujitsu, and Kumdo. During his senior year at MSU, he proudly served as the head coach of the Michigan State Taekwondo Team.

Since graduating, Neil has continued to evolve as a trainer, honing his expertise in functional strength, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), and athletic performance. His mission is to empower clients to crush their goals through smart, effective, and personalized training.

Known for his positive energy, grounded patience, and unwavering support, Neil makes sure every client knows they’ve got a coach who truly has their back—every step, rep, and round of the way.


Leo Barzi - Personal Trainer

Leo is a personal trainer for Focus Point Training. He is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine in both personal training and exercise physiology and holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Northern Illinois University. He is pursuing a Master of Science in exercise physiology with hopes of studying how the brain responds to movement and physical activity. He is passionate about health and exercise and would love to help you reach your fitness goals. Leo has extensive experience working in the clinical setting helping patients get back to full function and as an athletic coach for youth sports. In his free time Leo is an avid biker and tennis player. He recently completed a 110-mile bike trip to Chain O’Lakes State Park and plans for many more bike trips! On the tennis side, he has 7 years of tennis playing and training experience, including play at the collegiate level. In fact, he is game for any racket sport and can help you train for them too. But his favorite pastime has to be spending time with his cat, Shang, and his two poodles, Misty and Fluffy.
